NEW Verti-Mix ‘Professional’ Range

Strautmann has recently launch a more agile, simplified version of its Verti-Mix feeder wagons.

Tagged as the ‘Professional’ range, these new models are based on the time-proven design of standard machines but within a more compact chassis.

The idea behind this new offering is to create a more manoeuvrable and less complex mixer wagon which is still capable of withstanding the daily demands of TMR feeding across livestock farms. The range aims to provide a straightforward, competitively-priced specification for farmers who do not need advanced features but still want to benefit from Strautmann’s market-leading mixing quality.

As such, ‘Professional’-spec. Verti-Mix models feature Strautmann’s unique IMS vertical augers as used across the German firm’s entire range. Employing stepped auger flights, the design ensures fast, homogeneous mixing with the widest range of ration ingredients.

A complete redesign of the front end of the machine has made it possible to shorten the distance between the towing eye and the mixing tub, making for a much more compact machine overall. The shortened chassis and drawbar plus reconfigured driveline guarding have made the ‘Professional’ range even more manoeuvrable than ‘Expert’ models, making them suitable for smaller yards and difficult to access buildings.

Alongside the shortened chassis, the simpler three-point weighing system provides accurate, consistent measurements down to the last kilogramme even on rough, uneven terrain. When it comes to discharging the finished ration, 100mm wider side doors make for rapid feed-outs and there is the option of a rear cross conveyor or Danish rear doors.

The new Strautmann Verti-Mix ‘Professional’ range comprises six single-tub machines from 7.5m³ to 14.5m³ and four double-auger machines from 11.5m³ to a maximum of 24.5m³.
