Strautmann is a family-owned machinery manufacturer based in Lower Saxony in Germany. Strautmann is now owned and run by Wolfgang Strautmann, the grandson of the founder, and his great grandson is already actively involved in the business.
Since its establishment over 90 years ago, Strautmann has developed market leading expertise in the fields of agricultural transport, livestock feeding, forage harvesting and muck spreading. Their in-depth market knowledge and technical expertise are critical for all of these products, as many machines are bespoke for individual countries, applications or even customer requirements.
The Strautmann group incorporates a modern production plant and sales office in Poland, a sales office in Hungary and the main factory in Bad Laer, Germany. Furthermore, the company began a significant investment programme in late 2015 to expand and modernise the production facility in Germany, including a new dispatch department, new offices, a new training centre and ground works for a large new painting facility.
Today
Strautmann have been manufacturing agricultural machinery for almost 100 years, which is now distributed and used in more than 60 countries. Employing around 700 skilled employees, Strautmann can offer practical solutions with their tested quality and technical know-how.
